hey guys,


so i had this set up on my ap2
now i purchased an ap1 and bought the same set up, but it isnt working.

firstly its an ap1 JDM.
bought these from ebay.

they arrived, and the sleeve was too fat to go over the ap1 shock.
so i purchased ap2 shocks.
just got those... and it still isnt working.
the sleeve is too slim to fit over the shock.

now... ive confirmed the part number on the shock and it is an ap2 shock.
so the only thing is now is that they sent me the wrong coil sleeve.

does anyone have these on their ap2 and had this problem, and knows how to fix it?
im thinking that i may be just installing it incorrectly.

help please.

You got the wrong ground control kit. They make multiple s2k kits depending on the shock size (oem, koni, etc)

 

probably need koni shocks

 

whats with the toe nails?

 

Measure the inner diameter of the sleeve and outer diameter of the shock.
If its not off by that much you can sand off the black paint and maybe it will fit.

Get measurements first. Thats the data you need when you can comment with with GC if you end up calling them.
