Default How hard is your suspension after upgrade?

I am looking to upgrade my shocks n springs but don't want the ride to be too hard so I'm looking for feedback from people who have upgraded theirs and if it has compromised the ride comfort too much.

I realise this is subjective but would appreciate any feed back, I plan to supercharge it very soon and my s is my dd and gets used on track so I need a compromise on comfort vs performance.

Cheers
Robert

You need to specify more. You want adjustable/non-adjustable, how many inches you want to lower, how much you want to spend, etc.
I had tein flex coilovers and they were to stiff for me. I would get eibach pro now.

Not bothered about lowering, my only experience of adjustables was on an xr4x4 used on track with Koni adjustables and it made no difference changing from fully soft to fully hard so if they actually make a difference I may be interested in adjustable

Koni yellows are really nice. Can be softer than stock or much firmer.

I'm running the Comptech adjustable springs + Koni yellow shocks + Comptech sway bars. This combo is not enough to make a serious track car, but it made a huge difference on the street. At first the Comptechs were stiffer than stock, but each year they mellow out a bit more and after 4 years it feels like stock in terms of stiffness / harshness. The Konis make a huge difference in how the car feels more composed and controlled. And the sway bars definitely reduce body roll. Overall it's a much better setup than AP1 stock.

Comfort is in mostly in the shock, btw. Shop shocks, not springs. Springs are easy to change, shocks are not.
