On what basis are you saying no to spacers after a one inch drop?

IMO Lowering Springs on Stock shocks does NOT improve handling. Read the "Should I lower my car" thread at the top... Whenever you change the spring ride height without changing the shock rate, you mess up the geometry of the design. (the design from the Engineers at Honda)
Lowering springs do only one thing, lower the car. If you want to increase handling, you must get into tyre size and compound, shock/spring ratio's, braces/bars etc. If you could increase the handling of the S2000 by putting a shorter spring in there, dont you think Honda would have done it?
Just my .02
Lowering car on a budget = Buddy Club N+ or better... Otherwise

um honda could have just engineered the s2000 be lower by installing matching shocks/springs to begin with but didnt. im sure not everyone buys a s2000 to track and race. alot are DD and need the height because after my drop i scrape the front lower flaps ![frown.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
i love my espelirs on stock shocks. looks great and feels almost like stock. only noticed it being stiffer was on bumpy roads
i dont race mine around town but it still handles great. i didnt push my car to its limits when stock on the streets so all this talk bout high end setup is crazy talk for urban streets with pot holes hehe
