How does your buddy like them? Do you know how long he has been running them and if he's had any issues?

What are you not sure about?

They are local to me here in az, couple guys are running their coilovers and they seem to be happy with them. Just dont know about these brake kits.

I tried to find reviews on this kit... But i only knew of 1 s2k member running them.

I didn't want to spend $1500 and risk them being shitty so i got willwoods BBK.

We have had great experience with these on several different vehicles who run NASA track day events.....

The brakes work well and the quality of the product is there.

I have seen them in use on

BMW E36 Race car
Nissan 240SX with an SR20 Time trial car
Toyota Supra turbo HPDE car that runs events in California now
Ksports own DC5 ITR used it at both the Superlap Battle, Redline TA, and Modified Tuner shootout along with local events here in AZ

We would have them on our shop EVO if we didn't already have a set of Custom Baers.....

on the S2000...we have 17x9 +45mm in the front so the caliper doesn't clear

like I said though the brakes from Ksport are excellent...hit me up via PM and I'll get you a price

Just to give you a little tip on vendor sales.

You shouldn't try to give us info on these brakes, your obviously going to say good things about them.... you sell it. Only half of the people are going to listen to what you have to say. Now if your patient and wait for us to say good things about them, then you can just jump in here and tell us you have them in stock or something. Just letting you know that you sound like a sales man trying to make money.

That being said, yes these brakes suck. Unless you have a serperate adjustable proportioning valve, your front to rear bias sucks. Ksport makes this one bbk and uses a different bracket for all it's applications.
Hence the cheap pricetag. Either get a better system or your going to spend the same amount of money on making them work properly.

I'm not saying they don'work btw. Bigger brakes are bigger brakes, and I'm sure a lot of timetrial guys use them and work great. I'm just saying that they will need adjustments.

I ran these on my stock s13. the pedal litterally dropped to the floor, I had to change out my master cylinder to fix this problem to a 300zx, but now I have a problem with the brakes not having enough power to stop the car ( I would stomp on the brakes and the car would coast to a stop), because I didn't have enough power in my brake booster. So now I also have a 300zx brake booster. Now the pedal feels real great, but this brake booster is used with 300zx with abs. so now I have no pedal feel and the tires just lock up without warning. I don't understand why the braking is so inconsistent but it is. Now I am running the stock 300zx brakes and they feel awesome.

O also I do have a comparison, I have the Brembo Gran Tourismo BBK on my Mini Cooper. I didn't have to do anything. They felt great from the very beginning. I did however have to pay about 2g's for this system. But couldn't be happier.

I appreciate your opinion and advice.

That being said, I have had enough people that I know use them and be completely satisfied, and therefore I will continue to offer/sell/endorse them.

You weren't happy with them and that is your opinion and your experience, and I can respect that.

As for using one "brake kit" and different brackets for applications...that is what most brake companies do..... They don't make a specific caliper for every single application...it wouldn't be cost effective..unless you were making it for an OEM application where sales were guaranteed.

I had the exact opposite experience, I ran the Ksport 8pot fronts with 356mm discs with ds2500 pads on a 400hp s14 which I also used as a track car. I have to say the braking was immense, I did 3 back to back laps of the nurburgring, 10 min wait between each lap and I got no hint of fade and great feel.

For the price, I would recommend them, and I recommend them on the basis I had no problems with the product, however regarding bias etc, well it comes down to the individual driver and more so the car. A s14 is one thing, the s2000 may be something completely different.
