Default Looking for a little better handleing.

I recently took the s200 through the dragon and down the entire Moonshiner 28 run. Amazing drive and roads, and even more impressive though to me was the s2000. Completely stock she did very well and handled amazing. I understand that putting on better tires will help with performance but I'm looking for a little more. I don't track my car but maybe once a year(havn't tracked the s2000 yet, Only owned for 2 months.) And drive the dragon maybe 4-5 times per year. I don't want a full coilover setup as it would be way overkill for what I do but I would like to just handle a little better.

Correct me if I'm wrong on anything.

From what I understand a strut bar on the s2000 doesn't do really anything.
Anything really larger than 18" rims are going to hinder my performance and not benefit me.
Buying just springs for the stock suspension will lower it, but make it handle WORSE since the stock spring rate is tuned for the stock suspension.

So what I'm asking is what should I do? Front and rear sway bars? Ive heard good things of the cusco undercar bracing but will it really help. Sorry for this being so long I'm trying to learn as much as I can about suspension as its what I know the least about with cars.

your pretty much spot on, If I were you it seems like all you really need is a nice sticky set of summer tires ie Dunlop star specs, advan neovas, hankook rs3's. You'll see more of a difference with better tires.

For a budget handling setup, find someone selling their CR suspension and wheels cheap. Or, just some AP2 17" wheels with sticky rubber (Potenza RE-11s, etc) and I think you'll be plenty satified. The tires make a world of difference.

See I was thinking that maybe just some AP2V1's(over the v3's since their lighter) and some good tires would do me better. Would replacing both sway bars be worth the money?

Lighter wheels(i.e. 14-15 lbs a wheel), better tires(i.e. Start Specs), adjutable sway/antiroll bars...You can fine tune them to your driving style.
