Default Lowering Car

I was wondering if I need to put drive shaft spacers on my Wife's car when we lower it, we are just using Tein S Techs on OEM shocks. I dont know what height constitutes needing them? I have a set on my car currently with Tein RS.

Thanks

Lots of info on this. No set limits on drop requirement. In short a minor wear spot forms in the bucket when the car is normally driven. When you change the geometry in lowering you move it off the wear spot. So the vibration noticed under acceleration comes when you transition between the old and new wear spots. The spacer gets you far enough away to not have the transition during acceleration. You can also swap the "buckets" from inside to outside. Much debate as to which is more effective. I had 20k on my car after lowering and was just getting the vibe. Under access. Put in Megan Racing spacers last weekend nd now smooth as glass. I have not seen any hard info on 1" vs 1.5, 2.0" as far as this issue. I am running 1.25" drop Espelier.

So if I were to put new axles on at the same time as the coilovers, I would not need these?

what sort of vibration is it that you get when the axel is worn?
my car kinda wobbles/vibrates under acceleration above 120-140klms,
at first i thought it was my alignment, so i got the alignment and the wobbles under accel above 120 werent as violent

is this the vibration you speak of?

you'll get a vibration every time you accelerate. It can get really bad over time.
