Default Lowering spring troubles

I recently swapped out the stock coil springs on my '04 for TEIN S. Tech lowering springs. Ever since, I get a vibration in the rear, especially strong during acceleration. The teachers in the automotive department at my college (I'm in the Honda PACT program) say when I lowered the car, I changed the angle on the cv axles, and that is causing the noise. What is the solution, camber adjustment, J's driveshaft spacers? Anyone here of this problem before with lowered S2K's?

i thought the spacers were only required for ap1's. ap2's there was a change in the way teh suspension is to not stress that one part or something anymore.

I'm not sure where the idea on AP2 cars the angle the inner CV joint operates at isn't changed when lowering the car. It's changed on all of them. You lower the ride height and the tripod of the inner CV is pulled farther out in the inner CV's housing.

Chances are the outer section of the inner CV's housing has some deformity and wasn't made an issue until you lowered the car. You can take the inner CV's apart and inspect for wear, or run some spacers to push the CV's tripod back into the housing.

Camber settings on there own won't fix a vibration. You didn't get the wheels mixed up front and rear did you?

tires are 1 month old, great condition. Wheels were taken off and replaced one at a time, so they are correct. Bought J's spacers. Going to put them on and adjust camber(mostly for tire wear issues) on monday. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks Slows2k and all for input.

Question

Well, I installed the J's Spacers. As usual, good news and bad news. Good news is that the car rides like glass and the spacers did exactly as they were advertised. Bad news is that my retarded ass didn't think to support the rotor assembly when I seperated the upper arm. So the rotor drops and snaps the wire from the wheel speed sensor. We didn't notice it until the second wheel. So now I have no ABS and have to sell a kidney to get two more sensors. If anyone has a good source for these sensors that would be cheaper than the dealer, I'd love to know.

How much are you looking at? It might be worth looking for a wreck

I take it the spaces worked? i'm skeptical since this problem seems to be isolated.

Spacers worked great! Rides like a dream! The dealer wants $140 each for the sensors. I can't find one single distributor who carries that sensor for my year, make, & model. I put in a search through a junkyard search site, but haven't heard anything. Again, if anyone has a suggestion or a source, I would love to know. Drives fine now, but if it rains and I need to stop fast, it could get scary.
