Default Megan Racing coilovers

Hey guys, so my 5 year anniversary was today and she gave me 900 for coilovers for my 2001 s2000. I been doing some research and read that megan coils were probably the best budget coils you can get. I bought the s2000 with skunk springs on it, but it is very bumpy to me. I'm not looking to track the car or race, just to look nice as a daily driver and be comfortable (all show no go lol).

I just want some opinions on the Megan track series, street series, and even the EZ street series.

Please don't respond with suggestions about getting more expensive coilovers as $1000 is my max. Thanks

I was just in the same boat. In the end, I went with D2 RS coilovers ($918 from AZN w/ free shipping). I think they are comparable with the Megan street series, from what I have heard. I think you will be pretty happy with those. I think the track series is roughly the same with a stiffer spring. I haven't heard anyone say anything positive about the EZ series.

My suggestion would be to go to a local meet if you can and ask a few people to ride in their cars who have the coils you are interested in. Comfort is very subjective. People have different opinions. I have the Megan Tracks and I think they are ok. You also want to ask yourself what you want from the suspension. If you are interested in slamming the car then Buddy Clubs N+ could be good. If you want comfort the Bilstein PSS or Pss9 are your best bet.

I have the track series, first coils so nothing to compare. But I think they are awesome! They can be adjusted to be very stiff, I have mine set around the top of aggressive settings and the bottom of the race setting. I daily mine on SoCal roads and its more than bearable. More comfortable than S-techs.

dont buy the ez streets. they are way too soft. i have them on full stiff and i still feel they should be stiffer.
