Default Need help with suspension set up

I have a 2006 and would like to be able to get the following in a suspension set up
-lower the stance on stock rims (but can adjust the hight if needed)
-be able to do some track events (auto cross events)
-spirited road drives
- be under $1,000

What should I get or look for in coil overs? You thoughts.?

I've never personally had these, but I know megan makes a reasonably priced adjustable coilover set for around $700 or so shipped. My friend was S/C and ran these, I just installed some on Saturday and they seem to be great products.

I am pretty much looking for the same thing, I have read some ppl like to get Koni's on either stock shocks or you can get eibach springs...Gernby had them and eventually switched them out so makes me think they were not that good for track events as he seems to do a lot of testing/tweaking. His car looked pretty sick with them and some ohh so sexy work meisters!
