Default Suspension Newbie(Coilover Help)

i'm looking to purchase a set of ground controls. my track driving background is zero, but i've already been bit by the bug. i hope to use these ground controls for some mild track use, but mostly for the street and a minimal drop of an inch or less. will these suit my needs? any tips from the pros here would be helpfull.

Sounds like you've already made up your mind. So... <waves magic wand> ...yeah they should work.

If you want a recommendation though, skip the Ground Control thing-a-ma-bobbers and spend your money on seat time at the track. A 100% stock car will be easier to learn with because you eliminate added distractions like "what did I set rebound to on the rear left corner" and "I bet I could take this turn faster if..."

Definately not a pro, unless you count smack-talking, but I have the GC's.

The GC's w/Koni or stock shock is a marginal improvement over stock. Even with up to 2X the stock spring rates.

My adice FWIW,
1) Go to Speedventures Events, there are 4 dates scheduled at Streets of Willow in July.

2) Stay with stock until they are trashed from track days.

3) By the time they are trashed, you will know, or have a better idea, of what you need/want.

4) Get JRZ, Moton, Ohlin, EMI Penske etc.. whatever is within your budget.

I thought you were setup for RallyCross/Off-roading. Must have been another Berlina driver I was thinking of
