Default Need help on wheel and coil set up

So I'm the spring, i am planning on buying new wheels, coils, tires, brakes, rotors, and lugs. We I have in mind right now is these te37 reps called Varrstoen. The smallest size they offer is 17x9 + 30. I was planning on buying 17x9 + 30 for fronts, and 17x9.5 + 30 rears. The coils (bilstein pss or pss9) will hopefully give me a one inch drop and I have a body shop that will roll all fenders and relocate rear tab.

My question is to you folks is:

will it fit and if not how will I get it to fit? Camber adjuments? Tire sizes? (I would like to avoid a high negative camber and stretching i tires.)

I'm fairly new to the car scene so im not familiar with car terms. So please explain as detailed as possible.

THANKS YOU!

There is a guy selling those same wheels in the classified section. They do not fit and look horrible, especially with the severly stretched 215s he has on them. Unless you are planning to get oversized fenders and rear fender flares- don't get them. Unless your goal is the hellaflush thing- if it is you might have better luck asking in the thread in the gallery. The guys in that crowd tend to steer clear of this subforum. I could be wrong but I thought 18 was the smallest the varrstoens went.

Simple answer...no they're not going to fit [with stock tire sizes or larger] without major modification to the fenders (especially the rear fenders).

+30 is way too low, you'll need +45 or higher and stick with a 9" rear wheel. You could go with 17x9 +30 all the way around, 225/45s in the front and 245/40s in the rear) but that's still going to need a good bit of work to fit 245+ (that's the width of the tire in millimeters) tires in the rear.

The fact that you're going to lower the car doesn't help your already dire situation.

This thread would do much better here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/56-

You really need to read this: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/342...fitment-guide/

My advice: Find a different set of wheels that will fit the car.

they just came out with a 17" not to long ago. i keep emailing them to go for something s2k friendly like a 17x8 or higher offset with no luck.

they body shop is a buddy of mines, he said he been doing this so long he can make anything fit as long as i seen it fit on other cars before. can i get a 225/30 tire to help with the fitment or do i need a 40

Not willing to look for a different wheel? Even if it costs you the performance and functionality of the car?

I have the same exact wheels and size. It really depends on how low your willing to go. Yes they will fit with fenders rolled. My car is slammed very low so im running spc adjustable balljoints, stretched tires, and fenders rolled/pulled a bit. If your not planning on going to low you should be fine with a lil bit of fender work

Can you please post pictures of your car and setup from different angles. Or just send them to me. PM me for my email if you have pics.
And are you running 17x9.5 + 30 in the rear or 17x9?
