Fortune auto 500's Awesome!
Thought I would throw up a short review of my new fortune auto 500 coilovers. I purchased them in early march and got them about 2 weeks later. I went with 11k front 10k rear since I daily the car and am non staggered, running 255's on a 9.5 wheel.
Wow all I can say is the are absolutely awesome. I'm coming from stock suspension 70k with RSR Ti springs. The car was very twitchy before even with the 255's and was rough over bumps and dips. The new fortunes dampen very well even running on full Hard settings, with shit NJ roads. The car now feels very responsive and I can push the car hard in the corners with slim to no over steer. For the price of the fortunes you get the best "bang for the buck".
The fact they dyno all their shocks, they valve the shocks to the custom spring rate, and that they do not charge extra for custom rates/valving is amazing. The tech support and customer support is also great! I received advice and email responses within a few hours. The quality and look of the piece is absolutely beautiful as well, I love popping the hood and seeing those coils.
My only regret is that I didn't go stiffer! 11k seems like it would be stiff but I have it set to full stiff and I still think it is extremely comfortable. I also like a stiffer ride and would suggest road race/auto cross go a bit stiffer. Maybe 14k 12k if I could do it again. Overall I'm in love tho! Thanks Fortune Auto!
My Supporting suspension mods:
Fortune auto 500 11kfront 10krear
Hardrace front RCA
Hardrace rear toe/control arm
255 tires Bf goodrich sport comp2
9.5 x17 wedssport wheels x4
Blox axle spacers
3.5 camber

Sure thing, Ill post an update about them haha. Yeah I was going to get 10k but I did hear how some people wouldn't mind if they had gone stiffer so I decided to go with 12k's on swift springs. Hoping its a good combo.
