Default Optimal ride height?

My coilovers will be here Thursday, and I'm trying to decide how low I want to go. I remember seeing a hub centerline to fender measurment for optimal ride height, but I can't find it. I want the car to look good, but don't want the drop to be detrimental to handling.

Optimal depends on coil over type, spring rate as well as roll rate.

Well maybe not optimal, but is there a zero barrier I shouldn't cross?

Two fingers between the fender and tire is a good rule of thumb. If you go too low and limit the amount of travel, you will hurt the handling.

read the manual or call/email the manufacturer. KW for example gives you a range for optimal performance of their coilover.

set the ride height and get it corner balanced. Just because it looks even does not mean the cross weights are set correctly
