preferred spring rate
just wanted some feedback on what people have been running with their coilovers. i recently purchased coilovers, quality is great but the swift springs 10k front and 9k rear seems a little soft for my liking. I'm thinking of swapping the 10's to the rear and getting 11k for the fronts and see if that is better
but what do you guys track with or use as your daily driven spring rate?
thanks

Fortune 510 v4. Installed Thursday and it rides unsafe in the rear. It's 9k, preloaded but I feel like the valving is weak because damper is maxed out and it cannot control a spring dip on one quick dip in the road. And when I'm doing 90 it's unsafe. 10k in the front but I'm sending it back and asking for 12 front 12rear and a hefty revalving. Been on car for two days and 50 miles of testing,...me no likey. I hope their customer service will gracefully work with me with little to know expense out of my pocket.
did you have an alignment performed after you installed them? Assuming you did, what are your specs? Dropping the car can have major effects on the alignment. If you didn't, you need to have that done before prejudging the coilovers.
I run 10k on my Buddy Club Race Specs front and rear. Street and some track use. I've got about 60,000 miles on them so far. This is what they come with out of the box and overall they are a great match. Been very pleased with the damping adjustability and ride control/comfort in most conditions. I think 10k spring rates are the perfect compromise. But as others have mentioned, the valving plays a huge part in this. The Buddy clubs are valved to handle up to 14k spring rates. I have mine dialed in about half way through the damping clicks for most occasions.

I specifically asked for racing valving. Im going to swap the 10k in the back and put 11k in the fronts. Im going to tell them to valve these for at lest a 14k spring rate so i will have a vast adjustment. Fortune auto has been very helpful and their customer service is top notch
I, along with a lot of other TTC drivers that I know have settled on a 700/600 lb set up. If you want a little more rear rotation, go to 700/650. Most of the cars running this that I know of are on stock sways.
