Default Pss9 adjusment

I just got the pss9 suspension but im not sure how to read the dial to set the stiffness. Here is a picture of it: can someone tell me what setting its on at this positon?

There's a line on the side that points to the number, can't see it in your photo so there's no way to know what setting it is.

I see it but the piece under the dial is loose, it moves around i dont remember where the line was when i first opened it

You can just turn it all the way to the left or all the way to the right so at least you're at 1 or 9 and then experiment to see which setting you like best.

I'm struggling through my pss9 install today too.

Hold the bolt underneath the adjuster knob then turn it all the way towards 9. That's all soft. you should feel clicks. 9----8765432---1.

If it makes you feel any better it took me all of last night to figure out how to remove the adjuster knob and then a good hour today just to install the top hat and adjust the perch for 1 (one) shock. Fail.

Thanks for the help, got them installed and running, very comfortable suspension, handling is improved, good suspension for street setup.

If it's your first time installing PSS9s, installing the adjuster can be a bit tricky. I have done 3 sets, and I still find that part a little ridiculous.
