Default r u serious?

So I installed the coilovers in my car.... i set them up both 13 full turns from the bottom of the threads up. The car was crooked. So then I just measured from the body and went up the threads. My front left has more threads than my front right how is this possible. Shouldnt they both be the same?

i ran into this same situation before. turns out that the preload of the springs was set differently and one side didnt fully extend when it was jacked up(im guessing cause of the sway bars) this made all the measurements seem the same.

Change title to something useful. And you have to drive on em a bit to break em in... you may have to adjust several times to get them to an idea height and setting

Make sure all the springs are preloaded the same amount, set the fronts the same height as eachother, and the rears the same height as eachother. Even then from left to right it probably won't look the same height according to fender gaps. If you're going for looks then adjust each corner til they all "look" the same as eachother. If you want it to teuley be even then get a corner balance. Keep in mind after that each corner will "look" different. But it will actually be balanced.

This is not technically true.

On my last corner balance I was able to maintain even left to right heights.

The goal of the corner balance is to correct the cross weight balance, not the individual corners. IE, you want the sum of the corners to be the same LF+RR=RF+LR. After you figure that out, then you can move the corners around.
