Default rear caliper compatibility

Hey guys and gals,

I've been doing a lot of searching on here, the internet, shops, and other forums with possible compatible vehicle. I can't seem to find any information on whether the S2000 rear caliper is the same caliper used on any other vehicles (most likely Honda/Acura).

Anyone dealt with this before? Have any insight?

Thank you!

Maybe you can try comparing part numbers? The rear brake is not a common mod (save pads and ss lines), so I wouldn't be surprised at the lack of information.

Are you trying to swap them onto another car?

hey I bought a set of RSX-S brakes and the fronts looked exactly same as ours but the part numbers where different and they had different number on them but realy looked similar

the rears looked similar but they didn't fit, thats how I found out they weren't s2000 brakes trying to replace parts on the rear brakes

thanks guys. it's not that big of a deal. yeah the pads are the same as a lot of other cars. I work at RacingBrake and I was asking to see if I could find out so when it's ready we could offer our s2000 rear OE caliper big rotor kit to other vehicles. just a thought the owner had but not a priority

i'm not sure which other Honda/Acura vehicle have rear vented disk other than the NSX. Maybe some of the larger Acura sedan/SUV have larger rear caliper for rear disks. if you're going to make custom bracket or bridge bracket and bolt hole alignment shouldn't be a big deal. should only have to worry about the e-brake cable placement.

can't wait to see what RacingBrake will come out with for rear OE caliper big brake kit.

What exactly does this kit have presently. Didn't see it listed on your website.

I don't mean to undercut you at all, but if you're looking for just a relocator setup, I can develop one of those for you, though I like using modified OEM sized discs cause there cheaper and easier to get replacements, opposed to say fastbrakes that makes non-standard sized rotors.
