Default Ride height for Koni/GC Setup

So I'm looking into my suspension options because after a few years on my D2's I'm tired of the rough ride. I'm talking with the guys that run D2 and hoping I can make some changes to get things sorted out but I'm examining my options. One that I've come across is the Koni/GC setup. I had a similar setup on one of my old cars and enjoyed it but I'm wondering if on the s2000 I can achieve the ride height I have currently (see below) with them and still maintain a decent amount of suspension travel. I just worry since you're adjusting the height at the spring and not on the bottom bracket that this is going to be too low for them.

You can make your car really low with that setup!! I had my car super low for a while with them but have since raised it up as I was scraping too much.

Put them on the lower perch and then adjust them down. I'm sure they can go that low or lower even.

Good to know! How was the ride at that height?

I had it full stiff. I don't really have much to compare it to besides just eibach pro kit springs and then the konis with eibach springs and then the ground control coilovers.

They are quite stiff when all the way stiff but you can also soften the ride up a lot if you want. I would just rub my tires a lot of I had it on the softer side so never really drove it that way.

Let me look for a pic now with them to show how low I had it.

Here's one pic. They can go a bit lower than this I am sure but would have scraped too much if I did.

If on a tighter budget I can't think of a better setup than Koni yellow/GC coilover combo.

This looks like it might be ever so slightly higher than I am, but very very close! Thanks for the picture.

The more I research the more this seems true. While I hear a lot of good things about Fortune Auto and BC, there are some people that complain about them being somewhat bouncy and my fear is spending $ to end up with the same problem (even if on a smaller scale). My car is mainly a DD so I want something that can handle roads easily but still head to the auto-x or road course and hold up.

Thank you! They're 245's but the wheel specs are correct.

yes you can put it just about on the ground with koni/gc. I still have about 1/2 inch left on my sleeves and still a lower spring perch mount on the shocks. so i could probably go another inch down lol. (car in sig)
