I have an 06 and I just noticed the drivers side rear shock(damper) is leaking , when pricing a new one I found the drivers is 40-50$ more than the passenger side, does anybody know why?....Pete

If you were thinking about buying a brand new shock for just that one side, its not a good idea.
All four corners are likely near equally worn, so they will soon be dead too. Plus the handling would be wonky with one new shock and the rest old.
My advice is:
Either buy all four new
Or buy all four low mileage used
Or buy aftermarket suspension. Quality coilovers meant for street use. Bilstein, Koni, etc.
