Default Spring ride height

Hopefully, someone can help here. I'm a newbie to modifying a car. I am very mechanically inclined just never really messed with a car.
I just bought new rims and tires and installed them.
Rears 17x9 +45 with 245/40ZR17 Continental extreme contact Sport SL
Fronts 17x7.5 +48 with 215/45ZR17 Continental extreme contact Sport XL
They should have fit but there rubbing. The car was lower previously before I bought it. He installed Koni non-adjustable shocks and what I have to assume are lowering shocks. How can you tell how much it has been dropped? I don't want to roll the fenders. Not sure what is entailed in that but it sounds like a permanent mod. I believe if I install stock height springs I would be ok? I know adjustable coilovers would be nice but I don't want to drop a $1000 right now. Any ideas?

Thanks

Who told you they should have fit, bruv?

These won't fit unmodified stock fenders. You need a lip roll and relocated bumper tabs and possibly minor paint fixes.

Some camber wouldn't hurt.

Or, you'll need to raise it up. The PO probably used the "sport" perches on the Koni (assuming you still have stock springs). Disassemble the shock/spring and raise the perch up. If the car has lowering springs, you'll need a set of stock springs.

You will probably still need a significant amount of camber to avoid the rear fender lip, even with a stock suspension.

Thanks for your response.
Whats a bruv....lol I'm guessing the modern version of bro. I'm an old guy so don't mean to offend.
I bought them from tirerack and it said it would fit. The springs are green. It is my guess that wasn't a factory color for the spring. I'll find some OEM springs and try that. Maybe I will have to roll the fender. Doesn't adjusting the camber make the tire wear incorrectly?

Dude you need to do more research about tire wear and such.

17x9 +45 will rub stock metal if lowered

Tire rack said those wheels would fit under stock unmodded fenders? Idk...usually, they sell 17x9 +60ish for the rear. Not +45.

Use a fender roller if you're rolling them. Go slow, make sure you make paint touch up's and re-coat all the paint that chipped on the upper (creased) part of the lip. You'll also need to shave metal out of the rear tub and bumper...and then relocate the bumper tab.

Green springs mean you likely have Tein lowering springs. Factory springs should raise the car significantly...but it may look slightly funny with the wide wheels.

Camber does mildly adversely affect tire wear. Just make sure the toe is within spec.
