Default stock suspension

Apologies up front if this has already being discussed and this is my first post. Looking to become an S2000 owner. The “new” cars only purpose is some fun driving. Many of the used cars I have looked at have modified suspension, mostly lowered. Searched the internet but can’t seem to find how much it would cost to put a modified suspension back to stock. Lots of internet stuff for car modification but can’t find prices for stock springs and shocks.

Not being super handy I might need to have this done. Any guesses on how much it would cost to have a shop restore a car to stock suspension?

Thanks
-Ian

these are the best stock/cr suspension. i too couldnt find stock but this is for the s2000 cr. it should bolt straight into whatever year model you buy.

it would be pretty cheap to find the stock pieces (ton's of people who modify their setup sell the stock one), but i would really stay away from a car with a modified suspension. it may have been a job done poorly or with low quality parts and might cause you suspension or driveline trouble down the road. i would never buy a modified used car.

Hi Zoomie,

Your advice about buying a modified car seems wise. It's a nice car and the price is right but i will move on and continue to look for an unmolested one.

Thanks

check the marketplace for sale forum on here, or post in the want to buy section, lots of guys selling used stock suspension parts at a fraction of new cost. I find the stock suspension to be plenty firm, plenty low, and handles perfectly well for my taste. I would not have bought my car if it had aftermarket springs on it.
