Default Stoptech ST22 rear brake kit wheel clearance

So I am planning on using the rear Stoptech trophy series ST22 kit on my project s2000. It comes with 322x22mm two piece rotors. I have looked around and cannot really find anyone using this rear kit. I am hoping they it wil clear 17x9 +45 RPF1's, or possibly 17x9 +48 PF01's. Anyone out there using this combo?

I doubt it. The 9 +45 RPF1 doesn't even have much clearance on stock brakes. For that offset they have some of the worst clearances compared to other wheels.

You said you wanted to do the st-22 rear with 328x28 rotors. Is that a typo? the fronts are a 328x28 and I believe the rears should be 322x22. Anyways your rears should fit no problem if your front wheels fit the st-40 right? or do you run staggered wheels? The 17x9 +45 rpf1 probably wont fit but im sure the pf01 will. Im curious to see how the rear kit works out for you. Is it a track only car? not having a parking brake would blow for any dd use.

It is for a track car that I am building. I have a few sets of wheels for it. One set is Enkei RPF1's 17x8/17x9. I know the 17x9 will not clear the st40 caliper, but was curious if it would clear the st22. I am really looking to see anyone who has the rear kit and what wheels you are using.

Im curious to see if anyone has the st-22 in the rear as well just because I have yet to see or hear of any tracked s2000 with it. Not to be negative but its probably because the rear BBK wont really improve anything but pad life and rear wheel bearing life. It sure would look nice though
But if you're a shop or supplier/seller of stoptech products I could see it for the marketing aspect as well.
As far as wheels, Im pretty sure the 17x9 +48 only need a little space to clear the front so I would think they would clear the rear just fine. Do you have the st-22 or are you trying to figure thinks out before buying?

If you go on the Stoptech website, you should be able to find a fitment template that you can print out and compare against your wheel to check the clearance. If not available online, give them a call and as for the template. Their customer service has been outstanding for me so far.

I would have already installed the rear kit if it had provisions for a parking brake. My rears are running way too hot, and this would be a nice upgrade for track.

I have the rear st22 template, just need to do some testing with it. I know the PF01 17x9 +48 will not clear the front st40 kit, that is the wheel I was going to use as a track wheel.

On a side note, the NSX guys are lucky... Stoptech provides their rear kit with a separate parking brake caliper...
