Bales did 182 in the quarter, Red Star did 192. I don't think either is possible with 1300hp. 1300hp should have been the low 170s. There average power delivered to the ground has to be 850hp-1000hp. Is their power curve flat? Shifts instantaneous? Getting full power to the ground as soon as you trip the lights?

You would have to ask them to get the facts. The last engine dyno I remember Carey showing on FB just before he sold the car was around 1300 hp and I believe I remember him stating that was about where they were running it at. Maybe he turned it up from there, I have no clue. I also believe he was making around 1100 hp when still on the 8.5 inch tires and running in the high 7's and low 170 mph.

Yep and they get to their top speed in half the space I am gunning for so they would need a chute. The last 1/2 mile event I went to in October had cars running over 200 mph and none had a chute that I remember.

If 1300hp gets a 185 1/4 mile trap, 1100hp on the same scale may hit 200 in 1/2 mile.

Remember, these are Daytona/Talladega/Le Mans level speeds. An S2000 is not a NASCAR stock car.
