Supporting mods
Planning on doing a 1" drop soon. Are the any supporting mods I need to be looking at? Bumpsteer kits and things of that nature?

ap1 or ap2?
both - roll center adjusters to correct the suspension geometry change.
ap1 - rear bsk. ap2 - nothing.
how are you doing the drop? springs? coil overs?
bushings? how old and how many miles on the car. bushings make a huge difference in a car with torn/rotted bushings.
that's all the low hanging fruit, but you can go pretty far down the rabbit hole. let your auto cross class dictate how much to do.

What tires are you using? They're more important than a cosmetic 1" lowering of the car. If you're autocrossing for fun the stock car is fine.
Yeah, I left my '06 at stock height and a buddy put the OEM suspension back on his formerly lowered '02 which resulted in better handling (and the car not scraping on every speed bump).

Lol...there's nothing special needed for a 1" drop on an off the shelf coilover.
You're autocrossing for fun and street driving it. No, you don't need RCA's or anything else.
One mod at a time.
Check the result.
Then go from there.
I really doubt you'll scrape with stock wheels and a 1" drop on a pre-designed (off the shelf) coilover.
Unless you're CRUSHING speed bumps. The free fix for that is just slowing down a bit.
If anything scrapes on cornering, its likely just the fender liner. I still doubt you'll even scrape that.

Agreed, no RCA needed. 1" drop actually improves the geometry from stock position of the control and toe arms front and rear. It not only gives you more negative camber adjustment, but dynamic camber through the stroke, which is important when you are limiting the total suspension stroke from lowering. RCA are not only not needed, but I find more of a drawback on this car in most situations. When you get into 2" drop, some toe kit correction is beneficial especially on the rear of an ap1. If you really desire having more then -2 camber up front with a lot of caster, then an offset camber joint would be appreciated, but its not necessary to have fun in an otherwise capable car.
