The thread is super old but I got to post up a question hopefully someone will speek up.


The new internal insert that came with my EDFC kit are solid on the bottom....

How is the hex head on the motor shaft going to turn the hex head top of the valve when this insert does not have a pass through hole.

never mind Just took one back off the new insert is exactley the same as the old insert....

This is the write-up I used to install my EDFCs, it all works perfectly, good call on the ground wire too, I was looking for a good ground in that area.

There's no reason the spare shouldn't fit. Mine went back in just fine.
