Default Tein S-tech springs and struts

Hi all,

I am planning on lowering my S2000 with Tein S-tech springs and was looking for struts that'll help absorb the shocks. So far I am looking at Andy's Auto Sport and the struts they offer. Will these struts fit? And how good do you think they are?

Sorry if these are stupid questions but I am still new to the car world and would love any kind of feed back.

If you have any other opinions and options (I live in Vancouver, BC) feel free to let me know. Thank you!

Cheers!

You linked to boots and top hats, not struts.

The S2000 uses coilover damper assemblies. It doesn't have struts.

If you want to lower with S-Tech springs, you do not need to change the dampers. Just swap out the stock springs and put the stock damper assemblies back together with the new springs.

Lowering on springs will make the handling worse, not better. They are a cost-effective solution if your only goal is to look cooler and you don't care about handling. If you want to improve handling, plan to spend at least $2000 on quality coilovers (the stock coilovers are already very good).

Enjoy your S2000.

oooooh!!! kk that helps a lot never knew the strut was the long piece in between!! thank you sooo much!! I feel dumb but at the same time feel like I am learning more about my car which is always a great feeling. yeah, my main goal is to get rid of the big wheel gap I have right now with my 18". As of right now I am still a full time student so I am looking for a cost-effective solutio,n will get coilovers later on but I think just the lowering springs will do for now.

Will this actually damage my car and make everything a lot worse or it's just minor changes?

Thanks once again!
