Just FYI, OEM sized brakes are:
25mm front thickness, replace at 23mm
12m thickness for the rear, replace at 10mm.
The general rule of thumb is that when the pad material is less thick then the iron backing late, its about time to replace em.

Check the inbound pad too, sometimes they don't wear evenly if the caliper isn't floating freely on the slider pins. Or, you may need to regrease the shims to get rid of a squeal.
For $40 per axle, it's not expensive to replace a set of older pads if you're already going through the trouble to take them off and check everything.

from my experience, the inner pad wears out faster than the outside on single pot sliding calipers.
