Default Thinking of springs (for the time being)

Which ones?
I'm looking for about a 1in or so drop.

I've heard esplier. And eibach pro. Maybe teins.

Which have a better ride?
I'm running ap1 stock

I want to get adjuatables eventually but I need something for the time being

I know there are threads about this but its scattered and I didn't feel like tracking them down. Sorry.

Thanks

I'd go for some Eibach pro kit springs. I used to have them and liked them a lot! Very stock like ride with about an inch drop. Can later on get some koni yellows and on the lower perch with these springs make for a really nice drop and ride!

Hmm. You think?

I kinda like moddictions idea.

What decent priced coils are good?
I think the mega streets are like $700.

Those any good?

I would def. suggest getting coilovers. Springs are ok but offer no adjustability. With the coilovers you can set the ride height at whatever you want. Trust me you'll want to change it several times before you get it right. I love my tein's. Def worth the money for quality coilovers. Don't go cheap here you'll regret it.

it depends if you can install then yourself. if you can, springs are around 200 and you'll need an alignment. that's another 100. if you need someone else to install it, that's another 100-200. you can look at 400-500 just for springs. you can sell springs later on for about 100, but it's more labor that you'll do twice. I'd save money and do it right the first time

hrmm thats a good point.
i hadnt thought of that.

maybe some kind local S owners would help

im really torn.
i wouldnt mind my car riding a bit lower but i cant justify spending $1000+ on coilovers at the moment with me possibly moving.
not to mention i have BRAND NEW suspension in my car.

:\
