Default Wheel spacers

Just wondering what would be the biggest wheel spacer you can run without having to change for studs for longer ones?

Generally only 2-3mm is safe without extended studs or a built in 2nd set of studs in the spacer. But keep in mind if you are running a BBK many of the aluminum hats are thicker than the stock hat face which soaks up some of the 2-3mm.

I've been contemplating this same mod without changing my wheels (Mugen GP). It would seem AP2 wheels -as does my GP- require a 15mm spacer AND a fender roll.

Going to try and test fit my wheel on a friends car who has monoblocks so hopefully it all goes and fits well and needs no modding
