S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Hi all!

I'm a little late to post this but in February of 2017 I picked up CR #343 in Tennessee and drove it back to California with a friend of mine! This CR is my 3rd s2000 and was purchased to replace the AP1 track car that I unfortunately totaled.

Unlike most CRs this one was daily driven so I picked it up with 139K miles and its now getting close to 145K. I've kept the car almost entirely stock and have done four track days so far with it.

The mileage is showing though... I've addressed many of the common issues that you see with S2000s like CV bucket pitting, leaking clutch master cylinders, leaking VTEC gaskets, loose cigarette lighter, and busted motor mounts.

The car has been a subject in a number of my DIY videos and I hope to make many more as I modestly restore and enhance the car.

Its an absolutely splendid machine, an absolute joy to drive. Since the car is no longer collector grade I plan to continue (ab)using the car at the local racetracks here in Northern California as Honda intended.

Thanks, I've updated the Roll Call. Nice to know the sister car to my #342 is being cared for.

Thanks!
It's worth the drive. SpeedSF has a day there annually.

Come check it out.
