S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

I only post this because it concerns a car near and dear to us, the CR. I'll leave it to you to decide it's credibility as a automotive article, see if you can find the glaring mistake(s) within it.

Interesting. He's more interested in showing off his creative writing skills rather than doing justice with a proper review. Surprising for a guy who majored in writing and American history he didn't do any research on driver experience or gathering factual info before witting this.

Guess what he owns and drives: Zoom Zoom convertible.

Wow, a silver CR? they made 1,400? Really poor research. Too bad there wasn't a way to leave comments. However, it is nice to continue to see the car written about. The CR deserves to be considered a classic someday (especially if it is an Apex Blue Pearl CR).

It is like every CR article out there. Facts are wrong.

Unfortunately this goes beyond journalistic license, this is complete garbage. There are so many factual errors, which makes no sense from a once authoritative auto magazine, it discredits the entire article. My suggestion to the writer, stick to cars you probably know more about like your "girly" Miata.

Well that was mildly infuriating... I wonder why they don't have author names with their articles. Perhaps worth a tweet to them!

I sent the author an email pointing out the inconsistencies with his article.

It is frustrating time and time again to see published literature that is incorrect. The CR is undervalued in the automotive industry and these error's only contribute to that point.

Thanks Ira for setting this individual straight. I'll be curious to hear what response (if any) you receive back.

Ah, I see his name in the article now - thanks Ira!

Mr. Rong... I mean what should we expect?
