I personally don't think Koni is an upgrade in ride quality or performance in comparison to stock CR suspension. Maybe I'm wrong but putting them on a CR doesn't seem to be ideal. I'm sure others may disagree as Koni sells a lot of product.

What would be a better shock replacement? The factory shocks seem to be tough to find from honda nowadays.

Last weekend I drove my friend's CR with stock suspension back to back against my Ohlins on my '07 AP2. We didn't get a chance to drive it really hard so I won't comment on the performance aspect of the two at this time, but the ride, wow, it was like night and day! The Ohlins even at 10 from full stiff, was significantly more comfy than the CR. Hopefully next time we'll compare on a spirited drive or at an autox.

Personally, I would steer away from Koni Yellows as they are a full body shock in the rear and can cause issues with contacting the bumpstop much sooner than you would with OEM or S2000 specific rears.

Spend the money and go with Ohlins DFV... there is a reason why they are wildly popular here on the forum.

I've had mine for over a year now and i absolutely love em. I have Ohlins TTX36 Coilovers in my CR and they're a whole lot better.

I driven my friends CR with the DFV. Extremely solid feel and comfortable. I will probably get them as my next upgrade.

Hard to think individual wear items such as shocks would be D/C on a car only 6 yrs old. I think they'll get some here soon.
