I'd say #2 but I'd also like to see one with the minor tweak such as below:

Club Racer
#169 of 699

Or

Club Racer
Production No.
169 of 699

Might just be me, and if so, that's not a problem at all. I'd happily buy them in any case.

Thanks!

s2k4life_az 08-18-2014 07:44 AM

I like the verbiage that's says production no. I think many of the cars that ever had badges it says that and so it looks more OEM. Design number 2 looks perfect to me.

adrs2k 08-18-2014 07:51 AM

Hey guys I have not forgotten about this thread. Just thinking things over a little bit and how I want to handle the next step with the pole and etc. Please keep the comments coming. No need to "vote" by posting which option you like the best as we WILL have a poll sooner than later.

adrs2k 08-25-2014 07:46 AM

Voting time! Please go back to the Original Post and read the update and view the three options for the design. There is also a poll to cast your vote! :hello:

s2k4life_az 08-25-2014 09:21 AM

Voted. Are there 2 sizes available still or just the larger one?

Rather than extra coats of clear I'm thinking 3M clear bra would be a better long term option since these will see little to any weather/sun exposure.

I think both sizes are in the mix Sandeep, at least i hope so. :D

Mchester 08-25-2014 06:05 PM

The spray on chip shield / spray dip might be what I'll try.

Is there any chance a rendition could be generated depicting the actual design. I'd really like to see how the yellow will be used in this design.

We are looking into it right now to make sure the smaller size will not compromise the design and that getting engraving done is possible. Currently looking at something around 4"x1.2".

I should know for sure later this week if its possible.

g.guess88 09-03-2014 01:03 PM

please add me to the interest list please!!!!!!!!! this is awesome!

The Loon 09-09-2014 01:13 AM

Hi all,

I am pleased to confirm that I will also be able to offer a smaller badge approx 100mm x 30mm which owners can apply in the cabin or engine bay. The design will be subject to the finalized version as decided by the poll. The price for the badge will be around £39 posted to your door. I will confirm this nearer the time.

I am working on getting the proofs requested, and will have these shortly.

Thanks :)

Vanishing Point 09-09-2014 02:42 AM

At the current exchange rate 39 pounds = $62.78/ ea.

Thank you Loon for the update.

s2k4life_az 09-09-2014 12:37 PM

That's awesome. Thank you.

The Loon 09-22-2014 07:54 AM

Hi all

Attached below are some ideas for the interior badge.

I am ready to put the cill plates into production and accept orders.

Based on the poll results, Option 2 will definately go into production. If I had a minimum of 5 orders, I would also consider producing Option 3 for sale.

s2k4life_az 09-22-2014 08:01 AM

I like #4 the best. Clean and simple. I'm in for the interior one as well.

Vanishing Point 09-22-2014 12:46 PM

I have to agree with Sandeep, I prefer the looks of number four.

s2k4life_az 09-22-2014 12:58 PM

One suggestion would be to have both the larger and smaller ones with the same design. It would look more factory and flow better inside the car.

Mchester 09-22-2014 05:59 PM

s2k4life_az, I thought the same thing. Is there a reason, like aspect ratio difference, that the small one cannot be the same design?

thepassionofthegoose 09-22-2014 06:53 PM

# 2

Could you please add me to the list?

tpolonyi 09-23-2014 07:59 AM

The Loon 10-03-2014 01:50 AM

Hi folks,

I've attached below some images of the prototype interior badges for your consideration.

I have photographed them with the cill badge for size referencing. They are approximately 98mm x 30mm and I have infilled the logo in a banana yellow in line with the CR colour scheme from factory.

With regards to the cill plates, they will of course look similar. :)

Please let me know what you think.

Mchester 10-03-2014 08:09 PM

I prefer this one as well. The one with the box along the bottom of the badge. Thanks!

^ I agree. I think this is the best one. S2000 CR is larger with the Prod number in the long rectangular box at the bottom.

I should clarify. I think this one is great for the smaller interior plates, but for the longer sill plates the proportions may not work out as well since the sill plate is twice as long but only slightly taller, so the Prod. No. box might look better to the right side as you have in your 10 year 1999-2009 plate

Vanishing Point 10-13-2014 08:32 AM

Would it be possible to have the actual plaque made in a color more complimentary to say the radio door color? I am only going to buy the interior dash plaques and would like something that would compliment the existing color/texture.

Mchester 10-13-2014 05:12 PM

I recall thinking carbon kevlar backing would be nice, but figured that might be too much to ask as it's just not as common. It would, however, be a closer match to the intent of the CR trim pieces and seat material pattern/color. So, would it be doable?

s2k4life_az 10-14-2014 08:17 AM

The door will placard should match the finish of the door sill. It will flow better as an OEM look. The smaller placard maybe can be a similar CF cross pattern like our center console. If not we can always wrap it in faux CF. Just some thoughts.

Vanishing Point 10-18-2014 07:47 AM

Hopefully The Loon is looking into this possibility. :) Ready to order :write:

adrs2k 10-23-2014 01:31 PM

Hey guys. Sorry I have let this thread slip a bit. I have been very busy lately with work and away on vacation. Re-engaging now. I am trying to get answers to your questions and trying to figure out what the next steps are.

thecleaners2k 10-24-2014 10:30 AM

If its not too late I would like in on this list as well

The Loon 10-27-2014 01:39 AM

Hi chaps

Sorry to let this slip. Work has been extremely busy of late so i haven't been able to check in.

The finish will of both products will be the same. I have now started making prototypes of the 2 most voted for designs. I will check in again once I have those ready. Feel free to PM me direct should you have any burning questions which require an immediate answer.

Thank you all and thanks Adam https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/public/st...t/thumbsup.gif

zeroptzero 10-29-2014 10:14 AM

Wow, those CR plates look great, too bad I don't have a CR. Haroon (The Loon) does great work , I bought his S2000 door sill plates recently, great vendor from my experience.

Which ones will be final design for production? I see two different versions on the design. Does the price in British pounds include shipping?

Both designs are available and the prices do include shipping by tracked mail. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/public/st...t/thumbsup.gif

I will start a FS thread in the market place shortly and will post links to the advert if that's OK. The FS ad will have the designs numbered so that you may identify the design that you wish to order.

Vanishing Point 11-08-2014 04:00 AM

Is there any way to keep this within the CR forum for the time being, I'd be concerned if thrown out into the general populace the entire thread would get cluttered with non CR members wanting their versions of these plates.

Looking into this now and discussing with the Loon via PM to sort out the best way to approach the next step (placing orders).
