I like the verbiage that's says production no. I think many of the cars that ever had badges it says that and so it looks more OEM. Design number 2 looks perfect to me.

Voted. Are there 2 sizes available still or just the larger one?

Rather than extra coats of clear I'm thinking 3M clear bra would be a better long term option since these will see little to any weather/sun exposure.

I think both sizes are in the mix Sandeep, at least i hope so. :D

The spray on chip shield / spray dip might be what I'll try.

Is there any chance a rendition could be generated depicting the actual design. I'd really like to see how the yellow will be used in this design.

We are looking into it right now to make sure the smaller size will not compromise the design and that getting engraving done is possible. Currently looking at something around 4"x1.2".

I should know for sure later this week if its possible.

Attached below are some ideas for the interior badge.

I am ready to put the cill plates into production and accept orders.

Based on the poll results, Option 2 will definately go into production. If I had a minimum of 5 orders, I would also consider producing Option 3 for sale.

I like #4 the best. Clean and simple. I'm in for the interior one as well.

I have to agree with Sandeep, I prefer the looks of number four.

One suggestion would be to have both the larger and smaller ones with the same design. It would look more factory and flow better inside the car.

s2k4life_az, I thought the same thing. Is there a reason, like aspect ratio difference, that the small one cannot be the same design?

I've attached below some images of the prototype interior badges for your consideration.

I have photographed them with the cill badge for size referencing. They are approximately 98mm x 30mm and I have infilled the logo in a banana yellow in line with the CR colour scheme from factory.

With regards to the cill plates, they will of course look similar. :)

^ I agree. I think this is the best one. S2000 CR is larger with the Prod number in the long rectangular box at the bottom.

I should clarify. I think this one is great for the smaller interior plates, but for the longer sill plates the proportions may not work out as well since the sill plate is twice as long but only slightly taller, so the Prod. No. box might look better to the right side as you have in your 10 year 1999-2009 plate

Would it be possible to have the actual plaque made in a color more complimentary to say the radio door color? I am only going to buy the interior dash plaques and would like something that would compliment the existing color/texture.

I recall thinking carbon kevlar backing would be nice, but figured that might be too much to ask as it's just not as common. It would, however, be a closer match to the intent of the CR trim pieces and seat material pattern/color. So, would it be doable?

The door will placard should match the finish of the door sill. It will flow better as an OEM look. The smaller placard maybe can be a similar CF cross pattern like our center console. If not we can always wrap it in faux CF. Just some thoughts.

Hopefully The Loon is looking into this possibility. :) Ready to order :write:

Wow, those CR plates look great, too bad I don't have a CR. Haroon (The Loon) does great work , I bought his S2000 door sill plates recently, great vendor from my experience.

I will start a FS thread in the market place shortly and will post links to the advert if that's OK. The FS ad will have the designs numbered so that you may identify the design that you wish to order.

Is there any way to keep this within the CR forum for the time being, I'd be concerned if thrown out into the general populace the entire thread would get cluttered with non CR members wanting their versions of these plates.

Looking into this now and discussing with the Loon via PM to sort out the best way to approach the next step (placing orders).
