Question Honda S2000 Club Racer in Europe

Hello guys,

How are you all doing?

Wanted to confirm something.

The Honda S2000 Club Racer was only sold in the US market right? From the 699 that were produced do you have any info if some of them were "exported" to Europe? I've seen one in the Honda S2000 Euromeet 2019 (yellow) but it could be a replica.

Thank you!

Best regards,

Hey, that is correct, US only market. There have been many exported around the world though. I am aware of a Rio in Italy, ABP in Lebanon, and a black in Russia. I believe there are also some in Taiwan and Japan.

Replica may be cosmetic only. Next time you see one determine if there's a soft top somewhere on it. Gotta be LHD of course.

Thank you! The Euromeet was in Italy and the S2000 was indeed Rio Yellow. I got some pictures I think. Going to find them and share with you guys.

Thanks!

You can also look at the mufflers. The OE CR mufflers don't have the loop back thingie of the standard cars.

Only Apex Blue Pearl. Berlina Black, Grand Prix White, and Rio Yellow Pearl. Only 59 "real" CRs. The others all have AC and Audio. USA radio won't work outside the Americas due to frequency spacing.

I don't know if there's a CR "registry" maintained and certified by someone. If so the VINs should be noted and there's one visible on the dash thru the windshield.

THANKS for posting the video!

Had to watch it twice. First time to read the subtitles and the second time to just enjoy the video. "This is the real deal guys!" Even with my beloved Invidia exhaust.
