I was speaking in general terms for the most part, but for this specific car...maybe 25-26k. 42K miles, unknown issue with rear bumper, possibility of suspension issues (I would be leery of dealership replacing parts...) and then it has more than a few dings and scratches.

And also a CR being a collectors car. The long term value with missing VIN will be a lot less than with.

I just dont trust peoples words thesedays. If VINs missing on any body part. Who knows what happened?

If if was just paint problem. They could have put masking tape over the VIN label and paint. But in this case, the bumper had to be replaced for "some" reason.

i have same mentality with Cantsleep..

this car is special and if you want it, you should try to search for the best one so that you can enjoy without the worry if anything is wrong.

not saying everyone is like this, but i for one, am..

there were many times where i bought a car and found out it wasnt perfect.. i would just sell and find a better one.. example my 9 ae86's. i currently still have 2 which are absolutely perfect.

for this blue car - i would say 25k is somewhat OK, there are still dings that need to be PDR'd some scuffs here n there. not to mention the front lip is trashed from the underside..

they should replace the cheap shift knob with an original CR one.

everyone is different, but if your anal about your cars and want the best for yourself. then you know what to do... =D we all want to drive and enjoy it, but man, if i own this car and i know its been eff'd with somewhere i wouldnt be truely happy.. all up to the person i guess.

the car is decent... just not up to par for everyone =D

Just to clarify, I would only purchase this car if I was able to fully inspect the car with the bumper and taillights removed so that I know there were no funky repairs and that the car was not in any real accident.

Based on the input I keep hearing from other that have seen the car in person though, it sounds like a car that is not for everyone. But I hope some passionate sole comes along and puts some tlc and elbow geese into this car and restores it back to showroom condition!!

I talked to the sales manager and I told him that this CR is not collectible without all VIN stickers intact
This car has some bad history for sure. That's why no one is picking it up and been there for more than a month. Usually CR moves quick! Especially in Southern California.
I still remember they laughed at my face when I made an offer of 28500. Obviously thats with an assumption that the car was in good condition but eh
They put some cheap sumimoto tires and there are dings here and there
The seats are stained.
