A few guys here do a great job keeping up on newly listed CRs for sale and post a quick note and link in this thread about any they find. As always keep an eye out yourself. Good luck with your search

I was bored yesterday and went and looked at 3 S2000s lol. One of which was this CR.... again! Coincidentally when I got there I instantly recognized and old coworker. He's the finance manager there. The lowdown is that they are in it just under 27k.
The CR is not bad, but needs love. The Mugen replica top is not in great shape, not sure what kind of suspension or exhaust it has, but it's definitely not OEM CR. The seats are stained over most of the yellow pattern seat cushions. Not sure what year the door panels came from and the center shift console is from an Ap2V1 Many hours will need to be put into this to restore the paint quality. Most likely need new emblems. You could repaint them as they have been painted yellow at some point and the paint was unsuccessfully removed. Looks like someone tried using some sort of high strength cleaner and actually removed the original black on some of the pieces.
I did not drive the car due to not having time. If someone is SERIOUS about buying this I will be happy to return and take it out for a bit and see how it drives. If you do contact them, ask for the finance manager RICH SYKES.
If this price is out of the question, then wait for it to go back to auction and hopefully the next dealer picks it up for a lot less
