VP - I know you're not exactly close to Houston but be careful (as well as everyone else)!

I'm afraid our cars might go the way of ITRs in terms of catching the eyes of theives... and a CR would be an even more rare find and of interest to theives. Everyone keep your CRs safe... I know I'll have my gun nearby lol... I'd go to jail if someone tried to steal my car.

^ Yea I saw that article while I was doing my browse of the net lol. Thank you for sharing though.
It is articles like this and the constant posts of theft and vandalism that keep me insanely paranoid!!! The CA meet was the first time my car has slept out doors in a very long time.

Yeah. Another meet next year will have to be at a hotel with an enclosed garage or something or we all chip in to hire a security guard during the night. I saw that article as well.

I was talking to Greg at GT Motoring about the idea of doing a pole position with alcantara suede on the outside, and the inner section a similar pattern to the CR seat.. and do the stitching in yellow.
What were you thinking

That is just crazy, sounds like a professional group at work. We were fortunate to have a security detail for our cars at the Double Tree hotel, and yes if need be I would opt for helping pay for a security guard at future events.
I'm quite a ways from Houston, like 5+ hours, but I keep mine indoors with a multi-layered security system.
