S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Default pic of trunk stopper

Can someone please take a pic or explain how your body side trunk stopper is mounted. I think mine are upside down. The shoppers I'm talking about are the one one the left and right side of the trunk opening, not on the trunk lid. To further specify, these are the ones that the L+R trunk lid side stoppers mate up against.

Thanks for all your help

Yeah, that third picture. Mine are like that, but it seams that it should be upside down from that, so the trunk lid stopper could sit on the lip of the body side stopper. In fact if you look at the diagram from majestic Honda it appears to be oriented they way I describe.

jetguy,

I assume you are referring to the black plastic pieces that sit flush against the trunk opening on either side of the trunk opening? If so, if you look closely at that piece there is a rounded side and a side that is straight across. The straight (horizontal) side should face upwards toward the trunk lid. I checked my cars, all are identical in this configuration.

Yes! It was in fact installed upside down. I did flip them some time ago. Those side cushions that attach to the body should be the other way around. I forgot to update the thread.
