Default '03 S2000/02'Accord CD Player

OK Guys, got a teaser for you. The kids have just destroyed the cd player in the wife's accord by filling it full of coins! The model # is DEH - m6017, Honda part# 39100-S1A-E100 and they're difficult to come by. There's a guy on ebay selling a CD player out of an '03 S2K. They look identical, both from the front & rear, but his model number is DEH - M7317, Honda part #39101-S2A-G21-M1. The big qustion is will his work in the wife's accord?
Thanks in advance for any info!!

i'm no expert, but it should "work" just fine. fitment may be the only issue.

I have the OEM radio from my MY '00. I don't know if you need a code to turn it on since I took it off and installed an aftermarket. PM me if interested.

Just to confirm, you're talking about the in-dash cd/radio, not a
trunk-mounted changer?
From a wiring perspective, the headunits from 1998-on should be
interchangeable. However, European radio bands are slightly
different than US, so make sure you're getting an appropriate
one.
