Hello everyone,

I just purchased a 2005 S2000 with OEM CD Player and OEM XM Satellite Radio Receiver. The CD Player works fine during the day, but at night, when turning the headlights on, all the buttons light up on the CD Player other than the Display. Basically I can't see the Display at night. Help please!

Sounds like its burnt out... you'll more than likely just need to replace it. You can get a used from Car-Part.com just enter in your car's basic info (yr/make/model/part your looking for). Easy stuff.

OR

Since you have to replace it, install a new 'better' aftermarket headunit and reap the benefits of that.

I would opt for the second choice

 

Thanks for the advice. I went to a local CD Player Repair store, they said it would cost me $200 to fix it, and they suggested me to get a new one as well.
