Default CD Stuck-Help

After I had to reset the radio due to an alarm install, I was not able to eject the cd. I can play it but when I try to eject it all I hear is it spinning. Any ideas? Anyone ever have this problem?

If its the OEM radio, I would just take it to the dealer, as its probably still under warranty. Aftermarket decks have had this problem (alpine's swing face models), but I have not heard of it on an OEM unit.

my stock oem CD player is doing the same thing... The CD's been stuck in there for five days now, its driving me crazy. The only thing is that the CD doesnt sound stuck or spinning. Ive tried probing the cd and hitting eject with everything known to man. It seems like the eject button isnt engaging when i hit it. Its been working on and off for a while until now. And the CD is still able to play if i didnt mention it before. help help....

I have had success in the past using another to help "fish" the stuck CD out while ejecting.

Paper labels on CDRs are BAD, BAD things.

I had the same thing happen to me the other day, like was said I used another cd and the deck indicated loading as I slid it in, then I pulled it out and waited for it to load the current cd (the one that was stuck). Once the car was plenty warm (IT'S FREEZING HERE!!!) and the CD had played for a few tracks i hit eject and it came out.

Good luck!
