06 OEM Head Unit into AP1

Will a 06 head unit fit into an AP1?

The reason i want it is for the IPOD adapter.

If I remember correctly, the connectors on the back of the unit are different from AP1 to AP2.

See if you can find it using search, 'cause I'm sure it's been discussed before.

it uses the same harness, all you need is the radio code.
