i will be getting the alpine 12 disc and want to mount it in the secret compartment and did a search and found no pics in any of the threads, all there is is a big X on the pics.... does anyone have pics of the install? I need how to install instruction from someone that has done it and what i have to avoid to do the job right? thx a million for all the reply..

better to get a MP3 CD Player

 

I considered the Alpine MP3 CD player 7878, but I like pure digital sound. I may add another 12 disc.

 

I'm curious to know how a changer as large as a 12 is gonna fit in the cabin. I'm looking forward to the results!

 

is there anyone out there with a 12 disc changer inside the cabin? I need everyones input so i can do it myself....

 

I measured the 12 disc out. It will fit, but you will have to cut the bottom of the compartment out to make it fit. My installer took 4 hrs. He did an awesome job. I flushed in the 12 disc in the trunk, I decided not to swap the six disc until I get a confirmed buyer for it. Then I will be mounting the 12 disc there. I would get an installer to do the job, that way if the changer gets screwed up--they are responsible!
