12 volt source with ignition on...
Does anyone know where to find a connection as described? Even the accessorie point in the "under dash fusebox" gets cut when pressing the startbutton. I need the source for my boost gauge, as it resets the gauge when cutting the power, and therefor showing wrong values.
Anyone?

It's AEM analog boost gauge. It resets itself when the power is cut, and all points I have found so far cuts the power when you push the start button. So when I start the car it says the pressure is 0 bar, and not ^-0,5(?) which is correct at idle. I need somewhere that gives continous power from the ignition is turned on till it's turned off again.
But maybe I'll try the switch itself.

you can try using a small 12v capacitor (or wire together a few lower voltage capacitors to make a 12v output) on the power line for the gauge. i used this setup to keep my stereo from restarting when starting the car. adding a diode to this might be a good idea as well.
there should be enough power from the ignition power line to handle the gauge. but i don't like how the voltages jump around so i choose to use capacitors.

Hmmm. I have tried several places to connect the gauge for 12 volt power (even when the starter is running), but can't seem to find a working place. Even the "accessori plug" under the dash cuts power when pressing the startbutton. Any other suggestions? Any links to an example of capacitors I can use maybe?

Just thought I'd update for future reference. I ended up getting power from fuse #7. That fuse goes to the hazard light switch. As the gauge is mounted in the dash where the cd-player originally is placed, and the fuse goes for the red/blue wire to the hazard switch, it was very easy to get power from that wire to the gauge. And it works perfectly.
This was a lot easier than connecting at the under dash fuse box.
