2 10" Fosgate P2s?
Hello everyone! I picked up a S about 6 months back and love it soo much.Been surfing these forums pretty much daily learning as much as possible. As everyone knows the stock sound system is pretty..... lacking to be polite. So i was looking into putting a system in. I've installed a few systems in my highschool years so i know a tad bit about the topic. I have my old system that i had in my chevy aveo (no jokes please
). It was a complete fosgate setup, with 2 10" fosgate P2s, fosgate 1000 watt amp, fosgate tweeters , and a super pro base box. It was pretty legit in my Aveo, i think it was a good air space ratio.
Needless to say my sister kinda stole it and totalled it while i was overseas. Luckely i got a friend to gank my system out, its all in perfect shape and working order. Which brings me to my current debate....
Ive been looking into the Darkside V1 enclosures and i contacted the maker to see if these subs would fit in the V1s. With the plastic casing for looks on the baskside of the subs removed they fit. My question is would two 10s in a S2K be to much? Should i go with just one V2 enclosure? Just looking for opinions and experiances!

I think it would be too much. I was an audio head at a younger age, but found as I got older, a tight bass that is not overly making the tag rattle is a much better choice. This is especially true for a car that is designed to be light and for racing.
Keep it simple and clean would be my advice.

Yeah, buying one box would be cheaper then two anyway.
