2 subs in the S
Alright i know most of us here are sick and tired of having only little bass and I sure am one of the majority. Well here might be the answer for me and possibly a very dedicated few. Please note that I am a totaly amature at this and that this will be my first galssing ever. Please if you have any suggestions for me let me know. ON TO THE PROJECT!!!======>
I started by getting some armor all and scrubbing down the rollhoops and the surrounding areas that I will be laying tape on. Then I start to cover the surface with the masking tape. I made sure that if the resin drips, it wont drip on anything but drop cloths or old clothes.

After all the tape was applied I added the ring for the subs to fit in. I slowly taped around the ring to get the aiming of the sub the way I wanted.
Had some fun with the MDF ring before I put it on..
Funny thing is it actually fit pretty good =)

More tape...
Here you can see the right side is finished.

After the right one was done I started on the left side.
Tape.....Tape....add ring....tape...
There you have it both are done!

And now the test fit!

Wow so that was 10x better then I thought it would turn out. I should be glassing it tommarrow. I will keep the report up for you all. I hope you all like it but i'm sure theres someone out there that wont. Whatever you have to say go right ahead and say it, good or bad.

Sweet, now that's what you call a crack head
... Don't a sub need a good volume of space to pound correctly? Looks good, you should see how it sounds first before you fiberglass it to see what kind of bass you get out of it. Just a heads up but no turning back after you start.

Well these will be able to be removed quickly and i have herd them at 75 wats at 4 ohms witch was deffinatly noticable i plan running each with 200 @ 2ohms and just for clarification there will be 2 pieces so they wont meet in the middle. I'm thinking about a rubber lining on the inside to crate some kind of seal. We'll see what happends. witch should be better then nothing.
Bravo my man! One of the most creative installs Ive seen. It will probably sound good, as long as you dont send them too much power (too close to your head)....
Do you know the volume of the enclosure?
Keep up the work, and post pics as you go!

Day 2:
WWell I think that traditionally you make some sort of fabric wrap around your surface and staple it onto the back of your project. It's also supposed to be 1 piece in a continuous Contour. Well I can't exactly staple the fabric because it would go into my roll hoops. So I came up with a plan to hot glue the fabric down and then glass it.
Supposed to be polyester or something stretchy... I used a cotton t shirt.

Now that I have the T-shirt in the position that I think it will fit best I am going to start gluing it down.
First I do the MDF rings with superglue

Then I start working the fabric around the hoop and gluing it down.

I have to cut some pieces so they will lay flat because if you pull to hard to get the wrinkles in the back out you will disturb the glue in the front forcing you to start all over. I glued the ends of the fabric I cut to the other end. Thus joining them again. That is a very important step I think because when you have your shirt all resined up and dry it would be a total pita to get it to release the tape when it's glued to it. When you have all your pieces glue together and done what I did was I felt behind the T shirt and pulled up the glue so that the shirt rested on top of the tape and wasn't glued to it anymore. <-- I'm pretty sure someone's going to ask for clarification as it seems as I just mocked myself. So now you have a cover that you 'could' remove but it would be very risky to try and fit it back on the hoop without breaking the glue that holds the ends of the t-shirts to themselves.

Patch up the holes by gluing the T-shirt to it self and then you

Ummm..... first of all... your nuts... in a good way.
Second, what the heck is with the t-shirt? You really should be using fleece for that

Well I glassed today and it went relatively well. I started off by moving the rings farther back so they would clear the inside of the hoops.
Then I used super 77 to spray the fiberglass on to the tape. Good idea in theory but bad in reality. You
