2 subs in the S
Not sure how much bass you want, by the looks of things it's safe to say that you're looking for extreme bass. Not trying to take anything away from you but can't you just throw in a pair of 6" midbass? There are midbass that can handle 200 watts or so, it's just a thought.

You can see they they handle there own pretty well. But hey, if this doesn't work then i'll just try something else.
Also, the front plate for the S-pods (that holds the speakers) is made of aluminum. That would shake like a biatch with an 8" sub in there.....
You got some balls glassing in the car like that....I would remove the entire roll-hoop / rollbar assembly (but that is just me
).
If you get it looking good, you should consolidate your posts into a single one. Looks good for your first time.

So were were we? ahh yes the metal plate.

Weldable Plate. Thick but not too bulky.
We didn't use this tool.. I'm talking about the saw of course but, this is my type of girl right here.

So i went to homedepot to get some bits that would work on the jigsaw but when we got home to try it the bit was the wrong size and kept falling out evertime we hit the metal.. So it was not ment to be today but tomamrrow i should go pick up some diffrent bits and then on the weekend(btw fridays my birthday!!!). We should be back in buisness. I try to focus on school all week so I can be free on the weekend so the next update should be saturday.
John: thanks for the compliment. It's kinda hard to see good in it with my dad shaking his head everytime he looks at it..
WLAURENT: The Spods dont give the clearance that i need. I dont think I'll be facing them towards the seat because they have a really big excursion. I dont think it would be comfortable with the seat as far forward as it would have to be.

Wow those would be really great but it's $300. I'm not saying it's not a quality product because i'm sure it's worth every penny but I just dont have that kind of money laying around to buy these. I'm getting close to actually having an answer of my own. I will keep it in mind though.
