My break lights won't turn off even after I take out the keys. I checked to see if the little rubber button was broke on the break pedal but the S2K don't have them.

Try to...
  1. Park S2000
  2. Turn off S2000
  3. Pull up on parking brake
  4. Leave car in or out of gear, depending on your preference
  5. Take your f@#king foot off the brake pedal, as it will trigger the lights whether the car is on or not
If the lights are on without you in the car, get yourself a manual from Helm Inc. and start taking the relevant bits apart.

Best of luck.

check over the brake pedal itself and there should be a plastic pin that gets pressed when you hit the brakes... check if its stuck and if so just replace it. trust me it should be there up high.

Yeah its the brake swtich. Happens to all hondas. It's a cheap plastic tiny piece that realease when you press the brake an engage when the pedal isn't press. Juts like the lamp in refrigerators but inverted. It should not cost more than a $1 in your local honda store

Well... Often times, people don't try the simplest things first. Get married, and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. My apologies.

As for the solution, I assumed it was something like the switch on the handbrake, that needs very little input to turn the light on in the dash. I just didn't have my manual nearby to verify. I'll check when I'm back and if I can, scan in some images from the manual.

Edit: Here are the scanned images.

Unless I'm mistaken, the others were talking about the Brake Pedal Position Switch. Looks like a mild pain in the ass to get to. Have fun with that.

And I stand by my first post. Get yourself a Helm's Manual. I don't know shit about anything, but this thing gives me a good point in the right direction.
