I'm looking for something with a bit more wattage and looks good sitting there. I'd like to install it myself, even though I've never done this before, so a few tips would be appreciated. I'm also looking to upgrade to some newer speakers as well. Will I have to run new wire, or is the wire on the 2002 models well enough? I heard at least some of the years had really thin speaker wiring.

I'm not wanting to go much over $200 on the head unit, so I'm willing to sacrifice having the audio controls on the dash work. I want something I'll be able to plug my phone or mp3 player into.

I looked around first, but most of the info is over a year old and tech changes too fast for that.
