2003-06 accord key remote for s2k
just wondering if any one has every tryed to have a 2003-06 accord key with build in remote. cut and reprogramed to work with the ap1 or ap2 s2k.. seems like it might be a way to make a little more space on the key ring. let me know thanks
to the best i can see it dose not store for the seat. but both keys have a chip in side the key some were and both can be cut to fit the switch i talked to a parts guy at honda and of course they have no idea. But it would save room on your key chain and be kinda cool. I just wondered this since all honda remotes can be programmed to work with different hondas from the dealer. my s2k has the same remote as my civic did.

The key can be cut and the immobilizer can be programmed... unfortunately the keyless entry controls will not function. The accord and all newer vehicles in the U.S. function @ 315 MHz. The s2000 fob functions @ 433 MHz...

Ohh well, I sort of figured it was too good to be true. I've been wanting one of these since I saw a friend with a BMW have one.
